Upgrading

To upgrade from a previous version of formVista, do the following:

1. make a backup of your database preferably using the mysqldump command.
2. make a backup of your site_local.
3. unpack the new version of formvista directly over the old one.
4. re-run setup as per a new installation.

Setup will recognize that you are performing an upgrade and will upgrade the database schema in place regardless of the number of changes that have been made to the schema. You can upgrade from any previous version of formVista to any new version.
